Summer Courses:

Paul, Rome and the Book of Romans* (3 Credits) with Dr. Eric Turner, Hannibal LaGrange University  

A study of the grand New Testament book of Romans, with a view towards the relationship the Apostle Paul had with the city or Rome. Exploring Romans while walking the streets of Rome – the catacombs, the Mamertime Prison – help bring this important epistle to life.

History of Western Civilization II / Church History* (3 Credits) with Dr. Joshua Hollman, Concordia College New York

The Empire; The East/West split; The Holy Roman Empire; the Reformation; voyages of discovery; Vatican II: Italy and the Christian Church has been at the center of the extraordinary unfolding of Western Civilization. We’ll learn of it, and visit the famous sites!

Both courses feature classroom instruction, and a one-week travel tour to Venice, Florence and Rome.
