Semester dates:
September 10* - December 6 | *Please note that
students should arrive in Italy on
Friday, September 10, which means that your flight from the US will depart
on the previous day (Thursday, September 9). Students should depart from Italy on the
last day of the term.
It is especially important to adhere to this itinerary to facilitate transportation
to and from the Venice airport.
Program cost: $7500. Students are responsible
for purchasing their own textbooks. Most books may be purchased cheaply
through Amazon with free shipping. See list of syllabuses below for course
requirements.
Application deadline: August 1, 2010
Deadline for all paperwork and tuition payments:
August 1, 2010
Payments or paperwork received after the August 1 deadline will result
in a $100 late fee.
Fall 2010 Course Schedule, Syllabus, and Textbook Requirements:
*Some textbooks are available for
check-out at SBI. These texts are indicated below in green. Please note
that all textbooks that are available at SBI are based on a first come
basis. Please email
Samuel Spatola to reserve your copy. Make
sure to include your name and that you are an SBI student in the subject
box. Also, all textbooks are 'rented' to students, which means that they
must be returned at the end of the semester in good condition. All costs
are in Euro, no US Dollars or Checks please. Also you will need a Bible to
use in just about every class at SBI; we suggest you simply bring the ESV
Study Bible that is assigned for New Testament Lit. & Interpretation
course in order to cut down on your space and weight restrictions.
